Fix MPICH on kubernetes tests

Last CUDA changes introduced an issue that only appears on a very limited system (VM, Kubernetes, MPICH). Mercury asserts and cancel the execution. We incentivised the commit between syscuda and thallium risc, and discarded the close_range changes.

A possibility is the dev/null check introduced for mmap.
